We are launching a Welcome Campaign. Three offers, two of them until 16 October and the referral programme ongoing. They stack, so read all three.

New accounts get $250, applied against your first invoices. Signing up takes a minute; add a card when you are ready to activate the credit.

$250 each when you refer a team.
Your referral code is issued the day you create your account, before you have spent anything. If someone signs up with it they get $250 as soon as their account is running, and you get $250 once their account has been going for three months. Up to ten teams a year.

Two months free on an annual plan, or three if you pay up front.
Put your card down and billing stops after month 10. Pay the year in advance and you pay for nine months and run for twelve.

The two annual options are alternatives, not additions. Credit covers your invoices in full until it is used up, so nothing is charged while you still have credit.

A team spending $1,000 a month and billed monthly saves $2,250 in the first year: two months free plus the $250 signup credit. Paid up front it is $3,250. Each referral adds $250 on top, up to ten a year.

What you are actually getting

Nirvana Accelerated Block Storage bundles capacity and IOPS into one flat rate. 20,000 sustained baseline IOPS, 600,000 burst, sub-millisecond latency. No separate IOPS charge, no burst credit balance to run down, and no over-provisioning hundreds of gigabytes you do not need just to buy performance.

$0.0949 per GB per month, so a terabyte is $94.90.

On ClickBench, cold-read analytical queries ran 10.5x faster than AWS EBS gp3. On the Star Schema Benchmark, a selective query against a three billion row table returned in 34 ms. The methodology for both is published, so you can run them on your own workload rather than taking our word for it.

Egress is $0 between a workload and its database on the same rack, and $0.02 per GB for anything leaving Nirvana.

Nirvana Labs September 2026 promotion terms

These terms cover the promotions Nirvana Labs is running from 00:00 UTC on 16 September 2026 to 23:59 UTC on 16 October 2026: the $250 new-account credit and the promotional annual rates. The referral programme in section 2 is ongoing and does not close with the campaign. All of it sits alongside our standard Terms of Service, which continue to apply.

What is on offer

New accounts receive $250 in Nirvana credit. Referring another team earns $250 in credit for each of you. Annual plans get two months free, or three if you pay up front. All three can be combined.

1. Sign up, get $250

Any new Nirvana account created within the promotional period receives $250 in Nirvana account credit, where neither you nor your company has previously held an account.

To qualify, create an account, add a payment method, and run a qualifying workload. Credit is applied to your account balance and covers your invoices in full until it is used up, so nothing is charged to your payment method while credit remains. One per company. The payment method must stay on file while credit remains. Credit expires 90 days after your account is created and is not extended, carried over or refunded.

2. Refer a team

Your referral code is issued when you create your account. If someone signs up using it, they receive $250 in referral credit of their own, in addition to the $250 new-account credit, so a referred company starts with $500. Their credit is applied once their account is running. You receive $250 in credit once their account has been an active account with a payment method on file for three consecutive months. Invoices covered in full by credit still count.

Referral credit covers your invoices in full until it is used up, and expires 90 days after it is applied to your account rather than 90 days after your account was created.

Up to ten referrals per account per calendar year. Self-referrals do not qualify, and neither do referrals between accounts that share a payment method, billing entity or company email domain.

The referral programme is not limited to this campaign period. A company referred between 16 September and 16 October 2026 receives $250 referral credit plus the $250 new-account credit, so $500 in total. A company referred after 16 October 2026 receives the $250 referral credit only.

3. Annual plans

Billed monthly. Commit to twelve months and pay monthly, and billing stops after month 10. Two months free. Ending the commitment early means the free months are billed back at the published rate.

Paid in advance. Commit to twelve months and pay up front, and you pay for nine months. Three months free. Payment is non-refundable.

Either option replaces the standing annual discount on the rate card for the promotional period. The discount applies to your committed baseline; usage above it is billed at the published rate card.

Combining offers

All three can be combined. Credit from the signup and referral offers sits on the same account balance and is applied to your invoices earliest expiry first, so nothing is wasted. Neither is subject to a per-invoice limit. Nothing here can be applied to a commitment entered into before 16 September 2026.

What counts as a qualifying workload

An account has run a qualifying workload once it has created a VM or agent sandbox and run it for at least one continuous hour, or written at least 1 GB to Accelerated Block Storage.

General

1. Credit is Nirvana account credit. It is not transferable, has no cash value, and cannot be withdrawn as cash.
2. Credit cannot be applied to invoices issued before your account qualified.
3. Nirvana Labs reserves the right to determine whether an account qualifies, whether a workload counts as qualifying, and whether credit is released, withheld or revoked. Where we believe an offer is being claimed in a way it was not intended for, including running multiple accounts for one company, we may withhold or reverse credit at any time. Our decision is final, and we will tell you the reason.
4. Prices shown are for the us-sva-2 region and exclude tax.
5. Egress is $0 between a workload and its database on the same rack, and $0.02 per GB for anything leaving Nirvana.
6. Nirvana Labs reserves the right to modify, suspend or end any of these promotions at any time and without notice. Offers already claimed are honoured on the terms in force when they were claimed.
7. If we end the referral programme, referrals already logged are honoured on the terms in force when they were logged, including the three-month wait, even where that falls after the end date.
